Hi everyone! I am a Canadian currently in Guadalajara but have lived in Mexico for over 8 years. I have lived in Playa del Carmen and Nuevo Vallarta as well.
Posted in Mexico
I'm considering spending 3+ months in Mexico and I'd love some recommendations on where to go near the beach or mountains. I'd like to avoid spending time in the super touristy areas.

Loved to see Salesforce officially offer remote work permanently: https://www.businessinsider.com/salesforce-employees-can-work-from-home-permanently-2021-2
Twitter, Square, and Shopify have done the same. My guess is that these companies will have even more access to the best talent around the world through this.
I've met a bunch of digital nomads along the way who had to leave their office job to find freelance gigs since their employer wouldn't let them go remote. Excited to see that roadblock lifted for so many this year.

I've been a digital nomad for a couple of years and am currently in Bern, Switzerland. A few things about me:
- I love hiking! If there are mountains where I'm located, you can usually find me there on the weekends.
- I mostly travel solo. Therefore, I'm always trying to meet new people while traveling. Hope to meet up with some of you in person! I'm either going to head to Croatia or Mexico in the spring, so looking forward to seeing where everyone is.
- I'm gearing up to start an MBA in August. Any digital nomad students out there? I'm starting my part-time MBA online while working full-time and would love your tips.
Really excited to meet and learn from all of you!

It was hard for me to stay consistent with workouts during the week when changing locations every month or so. Sometimes I have access to a gym or weights, but then other times it's hard to even get out on the road and run due to the layout of the city I'm in.
So I've been pretty consistent with home workout videos within the past year. I purchase two 2-liter water bottles when I arrive to a destination and use them as weights 😅. I'll also roll up a towel to put under my knees/elbows for some moves if I don't have a yoga mat.
My fav workout so far is @tabu_fit IGTV workouts on Instagram on Monday's. Any fav nomad-friendly workouts out there?

Hey. what's up, guys!
I'm Shun Yamada, CEO & Co-founder at Remotehour. It's a more spontaneous, open-door solution for your business. Your clients/customers can, with one click,
connect to you🤩
I've worked remotely for more than 5 years. Luckily, I've been selected by Diversity Visa Program in 2018 and moved to the States the following year. Before COVID-19, I temporally stay in Los Angels, San Diego, and New York. I miss these cities!! One of my favorite hobbies is "Sampo", which is Japanese culture that allows you to disconnect from the work by walking around🚶
Anyplace allows me to unleash the limitation of the location problem. I found the place where I live now in Anyplace. And, I'm planning to stay around the States with Anyplace this year. Can't wait🔥

Looking forward meeting fellow nomads! As soon as this pandemic is somewhat over, I'll most likely do a cafe-roundtrip in Berlin. If you have any good cafe suggestions - let me know and let's have a coffee together!
